  • How long does shipping take? Shipping for bundles and hair is 3-5 business days, custom Units and Apparel is 5-10 business days.
  • How long can Sewin last? Sewin last 6-12weeks. Must return for regular maintenance every 2-3weeks for best results. 
  • How long does unit install last? 2-3weeks if maintenance properly. 
  • Can I book same day appointments? Only through a personal conversation with Excuse My Beauty. $25 fee for same day appointments.
  • Can hair be returned? No refunds or exchanges on hair or services
  • Do you have different hair textures? Yes, Body Wave, Straight, Deep Wave, Wet Wave, loose Curl, Kinky curl
  • Can I come to the salon for head measurements? Yes, call or text to verify time 
  • What days are appointments available? Tuesday-Saturday 
  • Can I bring my own hair for install? Yes 
  • Can I reuse frontals or closure? Yes, if it was originally customized and installed by me. Must be in good condition. 


Custom Units 

  • How Long do Units last? Units last 3-5 years. 
  • Can I replace unit lace? Yes if unit is being worn daily, lace replacement may be required every 6mth to a year. It is $300 for frontal units and $250 for closure units. Includes replacement Lace, takedown, and resew. 
  • What kind of hair is used for units? 7a grade Brazilian hair. 
  • How long does unit install last? 2-3 weeks of maintenance properly
  • How long does it take to get my custom unit? 5-10 business days for shipping



  • Do I have to come washed? No, shampoo and conditioning your natural hair is included in booked style. 
  • Can my current  hair style be taken down? Yes, a Sewin takedown , unit takedown, bundle wash, and  or braid takedown can be booked at the time of booking service appointment. 
  • What’s the difference between frontal Sewin and frontal Unit install? A Sewin is tracked hair after the frontal has been installed. A unit install is for installing wigs. 
  • Is there a late fee? No, clients are given 15-20 minute grace period, after that appointment is subject to cancellation.
